Recycle your old pants
So I say pants because I kinda still associate M&S with pants and yes I know, I know they sell almost everything you could ever want and/or need and have done a trillion collaborations with a host of amazing British designers, but still, if we’re talking word association game (which, lets be honest, we almost always are), if you say Marks and Spencers, I think pants.
Anyway, the point is, Marks and Spencer have teamed up with Oxfam UK to help underprivedleged communities worldwide. Take any M&S branded garment, shoe or bag into an Oxfam shop for recycling and you will receive £5 off when you spend £35 or more in any M&S store. To help you visualise the impact of your contribution, M&S have even created a nifty little app that posts a piece of trivia for every article of clothing you drop onto a mannequin. FREE MONEY AND A GAME!!! WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT?
Also, please don’t recycle your old, worn pants. No one wants them. Except maybe perverts.
The initiative is part of M&S’s Plan A. They really are well on their way to achieving their goal of becoming the world’s most sustainable major retailer.
